General Information:
Hyogo Prefectural Senior High School for Students with Special Needs was founded on April 1st, 1996.
The school has 40 students per year; 3 years total.
The school is dedicated to supporting high school students with mild intellectual disability who are looking to enter the workforce directly after graduation.
All students are enrolled in vocational coursework where they learn special skills needed for future jobs/careers.

Graduation ceremony

There is no tuition fee for attending this high school. Students are responsible for transportation, school materials, and excursion fees, however financial assistance is available to students to help defray costs.

The school also has a dormitory available to those students wholive far from the school.

e school offers core Japanese, social studies, math, and science classes to all students, as well music, art, PE, foreign language classes (English), and vocational courses such as carpentry, ceramics, information technology, sewing, cooking, home economics, and agriculture. The school also offers independent living and integrated studies. Furthermore, the school offers vocational training courses where students are put in real-life work situations like those they will encounter in the workforce. There are 30 class hours a week.

Clubs offered: Volleyball, Softball, Track and Field, Tennis, Soccer, Art, Computer Club, Literature Club, and Home Economics.
